Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting for detail-oriented Games Testers to enhance their remote quality assurance efforts. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your skills from any location within the UK . You will be an integral part of the development cycle, responsible for meticulously testing game builds, identifying potential issues, and ensuring a seamless player experience. Key Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and scenarios to identify defects in game functionality and performance.
• Document bugs with detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and screenshots/videos.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that fixes are effective and do not introduce new problems.
• Provide constructive feedback on game design, usability, and overall player experience.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of test documentation.

Requirements

• Previous professional experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies within the gaming context.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in communicating technical issues clearly and concisely.
• Ability to thrive in an independent, remote work environment.
