About the Role

Our client is looking for an inquisitive and dedicated Games Tester to join their growing quality assurance department. This is a fully remote position where you will be instrumental in the pre-release evaluation of our highly anticipated game titles. Your primary focus will be on uncovering bugs, ensuring stability, and verifying that the game meets our high standards for quality and player enjoyment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing of game features, mechanics, and systems across multiple platforms.
• Log, track, and manage defects with precision, including detailed reproduction steps and severity assessments.
• Verify that reported issues are resolved by the development team through rigorous re-testing.
• Provide constructive feedback on game balance, difficulty curves, and overall user experience.
• Communicate testing progress and findings regularly to the QA lead and development team.
• Participate in ad-hoc testing scenarios to explore potential edge cases and exploits.

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance or game testing .
• A deep understanding of game design principles and common testing methodologies.
• Keen eye for detail and the ability to meticulously document findings.
• Familiarity with common game development tools and bug tracking systems.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying risks.
• Must be able to maintain focus and productivity while working remotely in the UK .
