About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Games Tester to join their expanding, fully remote quality assurance department. This role is critical for ensuring that all our game releases meet the highest quality benchmarks. You will be tasked with meticulously scrutinizing game builds, identifying bugs, and collaborating with the development team to ensure a polished and enjoyable player experience. Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test cases and ad-hoc testing on assigned game projects to identify defects.
• Document bugs and issues clearly and concisely, providing all necessary information for developers to replicate and resolve them.
• Perform regression testing to confirm that bug fixes have been implemented correctly and have not introduced new problems.
• Collaborate with remote cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and producers, to ensure alignment on quality standards.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies within the QA team.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Games Tester or in a relevant QA role.
• A strong understanding of game mechanics , player progression, and common technical issues found in video games.
• Proficiency in utilizing bug tracking software and test management tools .
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, crucial for effective remote interaction.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage workload effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
