Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing of game builds, identifying, and documenting defects with precision.

• Perform regression testing to validate bug fixes and ensure the stability of game builds.
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to developers regarding gameplay, balance, and user experience.
• Utilize bug tracking software to manage defect reports and their lifecycle effectively.
• Communicate regularly with the remote team regarding testing progress, findings, and any roadblocks encountered.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Games Tester or in a similar Quality Assurance role is required.
• A strong understanding of game development processes and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and test management tools.
• Exceptional analytical thinking and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting in a remote context.
• Must be based in the UK and comfortable working entirely remotely.
