Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of video game builds across multiple platforms (PC, console, mobile) to identify, document, and track bugs and issues.
• Execute test plans and cases, providing detailed feedback on gameplay, performance, graphics, and user interface elements.
• Reproduce, isolate, and report defects clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce, expected results, and actual results.
• Collaborate effectively with developers and other team members through remote communication channels to ensure timely bug resolution.
• Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy by suggesting improvements to testing processes and tools.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Games Tester or in a similar quality assurance role within the gaming industry.
• A deep understanding of game mechanics, genres, and the software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in using bug-tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• A passion for video games and a strong desire to ensure high-quality releases, with a demonstrable ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
