Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and perform exploratory testing to uncover bugs and gameplay issues.
- Document defects comprehensively, including steps to reproduce, severity, and impact.
- Verify bug fixes provided by the development team and conduct regression testing.
- Provide feedback on game features, mechanics, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate with remote developers and designers to resolve identified issues.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation and plans.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Games Tester role or similar QA position is required.
- Proficiency with bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA) and test management tools.
- Understanding of the game development lifecycle and QA best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and a systematic approach to testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting.
- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently in a remote setting.
