About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and test cases to identify software defects, glitches, and performance issues across various gaming platforms.
• Thoroughly document bugs with clear, concise, and reproducible steps, including relevant screenshots and logs.
• Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure no new issues have been introduced.
• Provide detailed feedback on game mechanics, usability, and overall player experience.
• Collaborate with game developers and producers via online communication tools to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role within the gaming industry.
• A genuine passion for video games and a deep understanding of game design principles and common issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) and test case management tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet strict deadlines in a remote setting.
