About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute defined test cases and develop new ones as required to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Identify, document, and report software defects with accuracy, including steps to reproduce and severity assessments.
• Perform regression testing to confirm the effectiveness of bug fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
• Provide insightful feedback on gameplay, user interface, and overall player satisfaction.
• Collaborate with developers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of reported issues.
• Actively participate in team discussions to improve testing methodologies and game quality.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Games Tester or in a similar quality assurance role within the software or gaming industry.
• A thorough understanding of the game development process and various QA testing techniques.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Excellent analytical skills and a meticulous approach to identifying and documenting discrepancies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and teamwork.
• A genuine passion for video games and an understanding of different gaming platforms and genres.
