Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and perform exploratory testing on game builds across different platforms.
- Log and track defects comprehensively, providing clear reproduction steps and impact assessments.
- Conduct regression testing to confirm the effectiveness of implemented bug fixes.
- Offer detailed feedback on gameplay, usability, and overall player experience to the development team.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with remote colleagues regarding testing progress and issues.
- Adhere to project-specific testing requirements and timelines.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Games Tester or similar QA role within the gaming sector.
- A profound passion for video games and a solid understanding of different game mechanics and genres.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to identifying and reporting issues.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard bug-tracking software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, crucial for remote team collaboration.
