Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases to identify, document, and track bugs and issues across various game builds.
- Perform functional, regression, compatibility, and usability testing on multiple gaming platforms.
- Provide detailed and constructive feedback to the development team on gameplay mechanics, user interface, and overall player experience.
- Reproduce and verify bug fixes implemented by the development team.
- Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and producers in a remote setting to ensure game quality standards are met.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of test documentation and reports.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Games Tester or similar role within the gaming industry.
- A deep understanding of game development cycles and various testing methodologies.
- Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying defects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for clear bug reporting.
- Familiarity with common gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile) and a passion for playing video games.
