Games Tester

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute test plans and test cases to identify, isolate, and document software defects.
• Report bugs and gameplay issues clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce, using designated bug-tracking software.
• Verify bug fixes implemented by the development team and conduct regression testing.
• Provide detailed feedback on game mechanics, balance, usability, and overall player experience.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to understand game features and test objectives, participating in remote team syncs and discussions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Games Tester or in a similar quality assurance role within the gaming industry.
• Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile) and a broad range of game genres.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting bugs and providing feedback.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a systematic approach to testing.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
