About the Role

Our client is looking for a dedicated and meticulous Games Tester to join their vibrant, fully remote development studio. As a Games Tester, you will play an integral role in shaping the final product by identifying and reporting any bugs, usability issues, or inconsistencies within our diverse range of video games. Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test plans to identify software defects and performance bottlenecks.
• Document bugs clearly and concisely, including steps to reproduce, severity, and impact.
• Report on testing progress, risks, and issues to the QA Lead and development team.
• Perform regression testing to confirm that fixes have been implemented correctly.
• Contribute to user acceptance testing and provide feedback on game mechanics and features.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Games Tester or in a related Quality Assurance role.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.
• Proficiency with bug tracking systems and test management tools.
• Excellent communication skills, essential for effective collaboration in a remote environment.
