Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive testing on pre-release game builds to identify bugs, glitches, and performance issues.
• Report defects clearly and accurately using designated bug-tracking systems.
• Verify that bug fixes implemented by the development team have resolved the reported issues effectively.
• Participate in playtesting sessions to evaluate game mechanics, usability, and overall player experience.
• Collaborate remotely with developers, producers, and other testers to discuss findings and test strategies.
• Contribute to the creation and refinement of test cases and test plans.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Quality Assurance or testing role, preferably within the gaming sector.
• Understanding of the game development lifecycle and different testing methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically about gameplay and design.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for bug reporting and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with modern gaming hardware and software.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
