Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Games Tester on a contract basis to support their ongoing game development projects. This role is entirely remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on exciting titles from the convenience of your home office. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tests to ensure the quality and stability of game builds, identifying defects, and reporting them effectively to the development team. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for gaming, this is an excellent contract opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, usability, and performance testing on game builds.
• Log defects meticulously with detailed reproduction steps and severity ratings.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure overall stability.
• Provide constructive feedback on gameplay and user experience to the team.
• Adhere to project timelines and deliver timely test results.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA capacity.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools and test case management.
• A strong passion for playing and analyzing video games.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting in a remote setting .
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently.
