About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Execute detailed test plans and test cases across various gaming platforms and builds.
• Identify, document, and track bugs, defects, and inconsistencies with clear, concise reports using bug-tracking software.
• Provide qualitative feedback on gameplay, user experience, and overall game mechanics to development teams.
• Perform regression testing to ensure bug fixes have been implemented correctly and have not introduced new issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers to understand game features and troubleshoot issues effectively.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role within the gaming industry.
• Familiarity with common bug-tracking tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for video games across multiple genres.
• Ability to communicate technical issues clearly and effectively, both written and verbally.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Understanding of software development lifecycles and QA methodologies is a plus.
