Key Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive test plans for assigned game projects, focusing on functionality, performance, and usability.
• Log defects with precise details, including reproduction steps, severity, and relevant screenshots or videos, into the bug tracking system.
• Perform regression testing to confirm that all previously reported bugs have been fixed and to identify any new issues introduced.
• Collaborate with designers and developers to ensure a deep understanding of game mechanics and to provide feedback that enhances gameplay.
• Actively participate in remote team syncs, offering updates on testing progress and raising any concerns or blockers encountered.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process by suggesting enhancements and best practices.

Requirements

• Significant experience as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role, preferably within the UK gaming industry.
• A thorough understanding of game development processes and quality assurance principles.
• Proficiency with bug tracking tools and test management software.
