Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned test cases and perform ad-hoc testing to uncover defects.
- Document and report bugs clearly and concisely, including detailed steps for reproduction in a bug tracking system .
- Perform regression testing to confirm that fixes have resolved issues without introducing new ones.
- Evaluate game features, mechanics, and user interface for functionality, usability, and performance.
- Collaborate with developers and QA leads to prioritize and resolve identified bugs.
- Provide subjective feedback on game quality, balance, and overall player experience.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Games Tester or in a similar QA role.
- A solid understanding of software testing principles and the game development lifecycle.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and team interaction.
- A demonstrable passion for playing and understanding video games.
