Games Tester

About the Role

Our client is recruiting a proactive and quality-focused Games Tester to become a vital part of their distributed development team. This fully remote position allows you to contribute to the creation of high-quality gaming experiences without the need for office presence. You will be responsible for meticulously testing game builds, identifying potential issues, and providing essential feedback to developers to ensure a polished and enjoyable final product for players worldwide. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct functional, performance, and compatibility testing on game builds across multiple platforms.
• Log defects with precise details, including severity, priority, and reproduction steps.
• Participate in the full testing lifecycle, from early development builds to release candidates.
• Verify fixes and perform regression testing to ensure stability.
• Communicate effectively with the QA lead and development team regarding testing progress and identified issues.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Games Tester or Quality Assurance role.
• Understanding of game testing principles and methodologies.
• Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira.
• A strong analytical mindset and the ability to identify subtle defects.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote , team-oriented setting.
