Gas Engineer Birmingham (B66) Total package £60,000 – £65,000

We are recruiting a Gas Engineer for a long-established engineering manufacturer in Birmingham, offering a total package of £60,000 to £65,000. This is a hands-on, field-based role working with industrial gas-fired equipment, supported by a friendly and down-to-earth engineering team. This Gas Engineer position offers structured work, full training on specialist equipment and an excellent work-life balance, including a 1pm Friday finish and paid travel time.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing of industrial gas-fired equipment
• Work from pre-planned schedules with clear job information provided
• Travel to UK customer sites approximately three days per week
• Access technical support from colleagues where required
• Support one major annual project involving approximately 12 nights away
• Ensure high standards of safety, quality and customer service Package and benefits

• Basic salary £45,000
• Company car plus paid travel time
• £3,000 discretionary bonus

• Overtime paid after 8 hours per day, including travel
• 1pm finish every Friday

About you

• Experience as a Gas Engineer in industrial gas or commercial gas settings
• Relevant gas qualifications such as ACS, COCN1, ICPN1 or similar are welcome, current or lapsed
• Full UK driving licence and UK passport required
• Comfortable working in industrial environments including heat, dust, confined spaces and working at height
