Support Students Through Their GCSE Journey

We're looking for a GCSE Tutor to provide personalised 1:1 support to children and young people across the BCP area.

Working on behalf of Local Authorities, you'll support learners who require alternative educational provision and benefit from a tailored approach to learning. Many students are working towards GCSE qualifications and need additional support to build confidence, close gaps in learning, and achieve their academic goals.

Whether your expertise is in English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Languages, or other GCSE subjects, we'd love to hear from you.

Hours: Flexible

Pay Rate: £25-£30 per hour

Type: 1:1 Tuition

Requirements

Minimum 6 months' experience in an educational setting, including tutoring, teaching, teaching assistant, learning support, mentoring, or similar roles Experience supporting learners at GCSE level Strong subject knowledge in one or more GCSE subjects Ability to deliver engaging and personalised learning sessions Experience supporting learners with SEND, EHCPs, or additional needs is desirable Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, adaptable, and encouraging approach Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one Driver preferred; alternatively, willingness to travel locally across the BCP area

Adhd

Anxiety and school avoidance EHCPs and additional educational needsMany learners benefit from a tutor who can provide consistent support, build confidence, and help them develop the skills needed to succeed in their GCSE studies.
