Are you organised, approachable and confident dealing with both administrative tasks and people? An Outstanding secondary school in Liverpool is looking for a General Admin Assistant to join its busy school office on a temporary basis, with an immediate start available.

This is a varied role combining general administration with reception duties, so it would suit someone who enjoys a busy environment and is comfortable being the first point of contact for staff, students, parents and visitors.

What You'll Be Doing

Welcoming visitors and managing the school's reception area

Answering telephone calls and responding to general enquiries

Managing emails and directing queries to the appropriate member of staff

Providing day-to-day administrative support to the school office

Maintaining accurate records and updating school systems

Preparing letters, documents and other correspondence

Supporting with photocopying, filing and general office organisation

Assisting staff with administrative requests

Signing visitors in and following school safeguarding procedures

Helping the wider administration team as required

What We're Looking For

You should be organised, reliable and able to manage competing tasks throughout the day. Previous experience in an office, reception, education or customer-facing environment would be beneficial.

Most importantly, you'll need to communicate confidently, work professionally and be comfortable handling confidential information.
