General Cover Supervisor (Secondary School) - Part-Time | Leicester

Pay: £110 - £140 per day (depending on experience)

Overview

Clarence Recruitment is currently recruiting for a General Cover Supervisor to work on a part-time basis within supportive secondary schools across Leicester. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with young people and are looking for flexible, term-time employment.

The Role

• Supervise secondary school classes across a range of subjects.
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by teaching staff.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.
• Support students in completing set work and achieving lesson objectives.
• Promote a positive and productive learning environment.
• Build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• Provide feedback to teaching teams regarding pupil engagement and progress.
• Adapt confidently to different classrooms and year groups.

Qualifications and Experience

• Previous experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring or training environment.
• Strong classroom presence and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• The confidence to lead classes independently.
• Good literacy and numeracy skills.
• A proactive, flexible and professional attitude.n
• The ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
