General Machine Operators Immediate Start

• Location: Telford, TF7
• Pay Rate: £13.00 £13.50 per hour, depending on experience
• Shifts: Days and Nights available
• Start: Immediate

Staff Today are currently recruiting General Machine Operators to work on behalf of a client based in the Telford TF7 area .

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to develop their skills within an engineering and manufacturing environment. Successful candidates will initially work as General Machine Operators and will receive training to operate more skilled machinery.

Following a successful 12-week period , the rate of pay will increase to at least £14.00 per hour for candidates who have completed the relevant training and progressed onto the skilled machinery.

Duties will include:

• Operating machinery in a busy factory environment

• Loading and unloading materials

• Monitoring machines during operation

• Carrying out basic quality checks

• Following production instructions and procedures

• Keeping the work area clean and organised

• Working safely and following all health and safety procedures

• Training to operate more skilled machinery

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience within an engineering or factory environment , which would be advantageous

• Experience working with machinery would be beneficial

• A willingness to learn and develop new skills

• Good attention to detail

• The ability to work either day or night shifts

Full training will be provided for the machinery and equipment used within the role.

Pay and Progression

• £13.00 £13.50 per hour , depending on experience

• Training provided on skilled machinery

• Following successful completion of the training and a minimum 12-week period, the pay rate will increase to at least £14.00 per hour , depending on the level of progression and responsibilities
