About the Role
Our client is looking for a strategic and results-driven General Manager to lead their operations in Newcastle upon Tyne . Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the business unit's operations, including sales, marketing, finance, and human resources.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Manage the P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve peak performance and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior leadership or General Manager role, with a strong P&L responsibility track record.
- Proven ability to develop and implement successful business strategies.
- Exceptional leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong financial acumen and experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
