About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Process and interpret 2D and 3D seismic data using industry-standard software packages.
• Apply various seismic processing techniques, including migration, velocity analysis, and attribute analysis.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of processed seismic data for geological interpretation.
• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to integrate seismic data with other subsurface information.
• Develop and implement new processing workflows to improve imaging and reduce uncertainties.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in seismic acquisition and processing technologies.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Geophysics or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in seismic data processing, preferably within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Proficiency with seismic processing software (e.g., Kingdom, OpendTect, ProMax).
• Strong understanding of seismic wave propagation, data acquisition principles, and processing algorithms.
• Experience with attribute analysis, velocity modeling, and seismic inversion techniques.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
