Graduate Business Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for an analytical and communicative Graduate Business Analyst to join their fully remote team. This role offers a prime opportunity for a recent graduate to develop critical skills in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder management. You will work closely with various departments to understand business needs, identify areas for improvement, and translate these into functional specifications. Operating remotely, you will contribute to projects that conceptually originate from our Southampton base, collaborating with a distributed team of professionals. We seek individuals with strong problem-solving capabilities and a desire to make a tangible impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements from stakeholders across different departments.
• Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
• Translate business needs into clear and concise functional specifications for development teams.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather information and validate requirements.
• Support the testing and implementation of new solutions and processes.
• Contribute to the creation of business cases and feasibility studies for proposed initiatives.

Requirements

• A degree in Business, Economics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Visio.
• An understanding of business analysis principles and methodologies is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote environment.
