About the Role
Our client is actively recruiting a bright and motivated Graduate Chemical Engineer to join their process development team in Bradford . This on-site role provides an exceptional opportunity for an individual at the start of their career to contribute to innovative process improvements and gain practical experience. You will work closely with experienced engineers, supporting the design, testing, and implementation of new chemical processes, and contributing to the company's commitment to operational excellence and sustainable manufacturing practices within a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and optimization of chemical processes under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Conduct experiments, collect data, and perform basic analysis to support process improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation, including reports, flow diagrams, and operating procedures.
- Support pilot plant operations and troubleshoot process deviations.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure smooth implementation of process changes.
- Adhere to all site safety regulations and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
- Strong theoretical understanding of chemical engineering principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in an on-site industrial setting.
- Familiarity with process simulation software is a plus.
