About the Role
Our client is seeking innovative and driven Graduate Chemical Engineers to join their expanding process engineering team in Plymouth . This is a prime opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in process design, optimisation, and plant operations within a leading industrial setting. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and optimisation of chemical processes and equipment.
- Conduct process simulations and analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement.
- Support plant operations, troubleshoot process issues, and implement solutions.
- Prepare technical documentation, including process flow diagrams and operating procedures.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project implementation and commissioning.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- A solid understanding of chemical engineering principles , including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and reaction engineering.
- Familiarity with process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
