About the Role

Our client is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated Graduate Chemical Engineer to join their team in Sheffield . This internship provides invaluable hands-on experience across various facets of chemical engineering, including process design, development, and operational support. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers, contributing to real-world projects and gaining exposure to industry-standard practices and technologies. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in process design calculations and the creation of P&IDs and PFDs.
• Support pilot plant operations, including data collection and preliminary analysis.
• Conduct literature reviews and research on new process technologies.
• Help prepare technical reports and documentation for ongoing projects.
• Participate in site safety walks and assist with process safety reviews.
• Learn and apply fundamental chemical engineering principles in a practical setting.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering .
• Strong academic record and a solid understanding of core chemical engineering principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with simulation software is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn, strong analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the UK.
