About the Role

Our client is seeking an ambitious Graduate Civil Engineer to join their expanding team in Derby . This part-time position offers a fantastic platform to gain practical experience in site development and general civil infrastructure projects. You will gain exposure to design, site supervision, and project coordination, working closely with senior engineers. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to build a solid foundation in civil engineering within a supportive and engaging work environment, contributing to projects across Derbyshire .

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and detailing of site infrastructure, including roads and drainage.
• Support site investigations and the preparation of technical reports.
• Gain experience in project coordination and liaise with site teams.
• Learn and apply CAD software and relevant engineering standards.
• Contribute to project documentation and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject.
• A strong interest in site development and infrastructure engineering.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or similar design software.
