Graduate Civil Engineer - Site Development

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and ambitious Graduate Civil Engineer to join their site development team in Leeds . This is an excellent entry-level position for a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in the design and implementation of commercial and residential developments. You will work under the guidance of experienced engineers, contributing to tasks such as site analysis, drainage design, and earthworks calculations. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of site development plans, including grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
• Perform quantity take-offs and cost estimations for site development projects.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction progress and report on compliance with design specifications.
• Support senior engineers with data collection, analysis, and the creation of design reports.
• Learn and apply relevant software tools for civil engineering design and modeling.
• Help coordinate with contractors, surveyors, and other project team members.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng in Civil Engineering.
• Strong understanding of fundamental civil engineering principles.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic surveying concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally within the field.
