About the Role

Our client is looking for motivated and ambitious Graduate Civil Engineers to join their established engineering consultancy in Southampton . This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to gain practical experience in a wide range of civil engineering projects, from infrastructure development to structural design. You will work under the supervision of chartered engineers, contributing to project delivery and developing your technical expertise. We are seeking individuals with a passion for infrastructure and a commitment to professional development in the field of civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and planning of civil engineering projects, including infrastructure and land development.
• Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather essential project data.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and calculations using relevant engineering software.
• Support the project management team in monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with standards.
• Participate in site inspections and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Understanding of civil engineering principles, including structural analysis and geotechnical engineering.
• Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and relevant design standards.
• Good analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
