About the Role

Our client is recruiting for a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team in Plymouth . This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate to contribute to significant infrastructure projects, gaining practical experience in design, planning, and site supervision. You will work under the guidance of experienced chartered engineers, developing your technical skills and understanding of civil engineering principles. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of civil engineering projects, including structural, transport, or environmental aspects.
• Perform calculations and analysis to ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards.
• Support the preparation of technical drawings, reports, and project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to plans.
• Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
• Aid in the investigation and resolution of site-specific engineering challenges.

Requirements

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Strong understanding of fundamental civil engineering concepts and principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software and engineering analysis tools is desirable.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and team interaction.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a project team.
