Are you a Graduate Controls Engineer or similar looking to join a specialist controls business offering excellent training and career progression where you will play a key role in designing and delivering bespoke industrial automation systems?

This role would suit a Graduate electronics engineer or similar who is communtable to huddersfielfd looking for a varied automation control engineer position where you will receive in-depth training and great progression opportunities.

In this role, the successful candidate will assist with project costing, design electrical schematics and control panels, develop PLC and HMI systems, support panel manufacturing, carry out testing, and attend client sites for commissioning and technical support.

The Role:

• Designing customer-specific control philosophies and electrical schematics using relay logic and PLC programming
• Designing control panel layouts, wiring diagrams and Bills of Materials using CAD software
• Developing and supporting PLC and HMI programming tasks, including Siemens systems
• Monday to Friday with occasional travel to customer sites

The Person:

• Graduate Electronics Engineer or similar
• Experience building or assembling industrial automation control systems (Preferred)
• Siemens, Omron or similar PLC/HMI experience (Preferred)
• Knowledge of VSD/inverter drive control and industrial communication protocols such as Modbus or Profinet (Preferred)
