Graduate Cover Supervisor – Doncaster

Location: Doncaster Contract: Full-time, Supply Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing / Academic Year Salary: £100–£120 per day, dependent on experience

PK Education are recruiting for Graduate Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools in Doncaster.

This is particularly well suited to graduates who are considering a career in teaching and want to get genuine classroom experience before committing to teacher training.

You don't need to have completed a teaching qualification. Instead, we're looking for graduates who can communicate confidently, build relationships with young people and take charge of a classroom.

You'll be given pre-planned lessons to deliver, meaning your focus is on classroom management, student engagement and creating a positive learning environment.

The role includes:

Covering lessons across KS3 and KS4 Delivering work prepared by the class teacher Managing behaviour and keeping students on task Supporting students with their work Gaining experience across different subjects and year groups We're looking for:

A degree in any subject Strong communication skills Confidence working with young people A genuine interest in secondary education Previous experience with children or young people is advantageous but not essential If you're considering a PGCE or other teacher training route, this is an excellent way to find out what life in the classroom is really like before taking that next step.
