About the Role
Our client is seeking sharp and analytical Graduate Data Analysts to join their growing data science division in Sunderland . This is an exciting entry-level position for individuals passionate about uncovering insights from complex datasets and transforming them into actionable business strategies. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, develop reports, and contribute to data-driven decision-making processes. We are looking for candidates with a strong quantitative background, excellent attention to detail, and a drive to learn and apply advanced analytical techniques within a fast-paced commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from various sources.
- Perform data analysis using statistical methods and tools to identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators.
- Interpret data findings and present insights clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to understand data requirements and support their analytical needs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data quality standards.
Requirements
- A degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or similar.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Excel).
- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and data modeling techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new data technologies and methodologies.
