Graduate Engineer - Civil Engineering
Location: Deeside, North Wales – Flexbility and a willingness to travel Salary £30,000–£35,000
Are you a recent graduate looking to build a career within Civil Engineering or Construction Management. We are recruiting for ambitious and motivated Graduate Engineers / Graduate Managers to join an established engineering and construction business delivering a range of major civil engineering and regeneration projects.
Willingness and flexibility to travel to different project sites as an when required.
Responsibilities
- Supporting engineering and project teams with the day-to-day delivery of site activities.
- Assisting with site inspections, records and project documentation.
- Supporting the preparation of method statements and other site documentation.
- Assisting with project planning, progress reporting and coordination.
- Working closely with site teams, engineers and project managers.
- Supporting the coordination of subcontractors and project activities.
- Assisting with technical queries and problem-solving on site.
- Developing an understanding of health, safety and quality requirements.
- Gaining exposure to the full project lifecycle.
This role will provide an excellent platform to develop your career and gain experience across a range of civil engineering projects.
Skills/Qualifications
- A Degree, HNC/HND or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- A genuine interest in developing a career within Civil Engineering.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Good IT skills.
- The ability to work in a busy site-based environment.
- A willingness to learn and develop professionally.
- A Full UK Driving Licence.
- Flexibility to travel and work across different project locations when required.
Previous site experience, a placement year or internship within construction or civil engineering would be advantageous, but is not essential
