Graduate Financial Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a sharp and analytical Graduate Financial Analyst to join their finance team in Reading . Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes for various business units.
• Perform variance analysis, identifying key drivers and explaining financial performance.
• Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives and investment appraisals.
• Maintain and enhance financial databases and reporting systems.
• Contribute to ad-hoc financial analysis projects as required by management.

Requirements

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
• Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop a career in financial analysis.
