About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Industrial Engineer to join their team in Plymouth . This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in a range of industrial engineering functions, including process improvement, data analysis, and workflow optimization. You will work alongside experienced engineers, contributing to live projects and learning best practices in a supportive environment. This role operates on a hybrid model, offering a blend of on-site collaboration and remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in the analysis of production processes and the identification of improvement opportunities.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
• Collect and analyze operational data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Help develop and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to problem-solving sessions.
• Gain exposure to various industrial engineering tools and software.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of fundamental industrial engineering principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in a professional setting.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
