About the Role
Join a renowned architectural practice in Sheffield as a Graduate Junior Architect . This role is ideal for recent architecture graduates looking to gain practical experience and develop their skills in a dynamic studio environment. You will contribute to all stages of the design process, from concept development to detailed design and project delivery, working on a variety of exciting projects. Supported by experienced architects, you will refine your design talent, learn industry-standard software, and understand the commercial realities of architectural practice. This hybrid role offers a blend of office-based collaboration in Sheffield and remote flexibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of architectural designs, drawings, and specifications.
- Develop 3D models and visualisations for client presentations.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and assess design implementation.
- Research building regulations, materials, and construction methods.
- Collaborate with consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support the project architect in managing project timelines and deliverables.
Requirements
- A degree in Architecture and completion of Part 1 RIBA.
- Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp).
- Strong design sensibility and creative flair.
- Good understanding of architectural principles and construction technology.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work towards Part 2 and professional qualification in a hybrid setting.
