About the Role

Our client is looking for innovative and driven Graduate Mechanical Engineers to join their established engineering department in Portsmouth . Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
• Participate in testing and validation processes, analyzing results and identifying areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on project planning, execution, and documentation.
• Contribute to problem-solving and troubleshooting of engineering issues that arise during development.
• Support the manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

Requirements

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Understanding of fundamental mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics.
• Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, essential for an office and workshop environment.
