Key Responsibilities

• Support the design and development of mechanical components and systems using CAD software.
• Conduct engineering analysis, including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations.
• Assist in the creation and execution of test plans for prototypes and manufactured parts.
• Document designs, analyses, and test results accurately.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and production teams to ensure design for manufacturability.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical discussions.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment in Cardiff .
