Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Manchester | £26,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission

Were working with an established specialist recruitment consultancy in Manchester, recruiting across the Food, Drink, FMCG and Manufacturing sectors. Theyve built a strong reputation within their markets and are now looking to bring ambitious people into the business and develop them into successful recruitment consultants.

You dont need recruitment experience. You do need ambition, resilience and the ability to pick up the phone without treating it like a medical emergency.

The Role

Youll join an experienced team and learn the recruitment industry from the ground up, with structured training and plenty of support along the way.

As you develop, youll take ownership of your own candidates, clients and market, with the opportunity to build a successful desk and progress through the business.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Sourcing and approaching candidates across your specialist market
• Speaking with candidates, understanding their experience and career goals
• Managing interviews and guiding candidates through the recruitment process
• Building relationships with clients and understanding their hiring requirements
• Advertising vacancies and proactively headhunting talent
• Developing new business and building your own client base
• Negotiating offers and managing the process through to completion
