About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Grant Funding Officer to join their essential team in Bristol . This crucial role involves identifying, applying for, and managing grants from trusts, foundations, and other funding bodies to support the charity's vital work. You will be instrumental in securing the financial resources necessary to deliver and expand our client's programmes, playing a key part in their long-term sustainability and impact. Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant grant-making trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies.
• Develop compelling and well-written grant proposals, including detailed budgets and supporting documentation.
• Manage the grant application process from initial research through to submission and follow-up.
• Maintain relationships with funders, ensuring compliance with grant conditions and reporting requirements.
• Monitor grant expenditure and ensure accurate financial reporting to funders.
• Collaborate with programme teams to gather information and evidence required for applications and reports.

Requirements

• Proven experience in grant writing, fundraising, or bid management, ideally within the charity sector.
• Excellent written communication and research skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of the grant funding landscape and application processes.
• Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in financial literacy and budget management for grant proposals.
