About the Role

Our client, a dynamic charity making a difference in Liverpool, Merseyside , is seeking a skilled and dedicated Grant Fundraising Manager . This pivotal role involves identifying funding opportunities from trusts, foundations, and statutory bodies, and developing persuasive proposals to secure vital grants. You will play a key part in the financial sustainability of our client, ensuring they can continue to deliver their essential services to the community they serve. The successful candidate will possess strong research, writing, and relationship-building skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential grant funding sources aligned with the charity's objectives.
• Develop and write high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with foundation program officers and stakeholders.
• Manage the grant application process from inception to submission and reporting.
• Track grant performance and ensure compliance with funder requirements.
• Collaborate with programme teams to gather information and support for grant applications.

Requirements

• Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, preferably within the charity sector .
• Demonstrated success in securing grants from trusts, foundations, and/or statutory bodies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft persuasive narratives.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
