About the Role

Our client, a dedicated charity organisation, is seeking a skilled and persuasive Grant Writer to join their development team. This fully remote position is crucial for securing external funding through successful grant applications. You will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, developing compelling proposals, and managing grant reporting requirements. This role demands excellent research, writing, and analytical skills, combined with a deep understanding of the non-profit sector and the ability to articulate the charity's impact effectively to potential funders, working from anywhere in the UK.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government bodies.
• Write high-quality, persuasive grant proposals, applications, and reports.
• Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy.
• Manage the grant submission process, adhering to deadlines and requirements.
• Maintain a database of grant applications, awards, and reporting schedules.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Grant Writer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful applications.

• Familiarity with grant databases and online submission portals.
