About the Role
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and persuasive Grant Writer to secure vital funding for their charitable programmes. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere. You will be responsible for researching funding opportunities, developing compelling grant proposals, and managing the grant application process from start to finish. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional writing skills, a keen analytical mind, and a proven ability to articulate impact and need effectively to diverse funding bodies. This role is critical in ensuring the sustainability and growth of our client's impactful work.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, trusts, and government agencies.
- Write, edit, and proofread high-quality grant proposals, applications, and reports.
- Develop persuasive narratives that clearly articulate the organisation's mission, programmes, and impact.
- Collaborate with programme staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Manage the grant application calendar, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Maintain records of submitted grants and manage follow-up communications.
- Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in grant writing and fundraising.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Grant Writer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful submissions.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in researching funding sources and understanding grant guidelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with strict deadlines in a remote capacity.
