We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Grant Writer to secure essential funding through successful grant applications. In this remote role, you will research potential funding opportunities, develop compelling proposals, and manage the grant application process from start to finish. Your expertise will be critical in enabling our client to expand its reach and impact, ensuring sustainable funding for vital projects and services across Belfast and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, government bodies, and corporate funders.
- Develop persuasive and well-structured grant proposals, reports, and applications.
- Collaborate with program managers to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Ensure all grant applications adhere to funder guidelines and deadlines.
- Maintain a database of submitted grants and track funding outcomes.
- Build and maintain relationships with key funding agencies and program officers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Grant Writer, preferably within the non-profit sector.
- Excellent writing, editing, and research skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated success in securing grant funding.
- Ability to understand and articulate complex project needs and budgets.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the funding landscape in Northern Ireland is a plus.
