Our client is looking for a skilled Grid Integration Engineer to contribute to the advancement of the energy sector from a remote location. You will be involved in the technical analysis, design, and implementation of grid integration strategies, working with cutting-edge technologies. Key Responsibilities
- Analyze the impact of new energy generation sources (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage) on grid stability and performance.
- Develop and implement technical solutions for effective grid integration of distributed energy resources.
- Collaborate with grid operators, system planners, and technology providers on integration requirements and standards.
- Perform power system studies, simulations, and modeling to assess grid performance and identify potential issues.
- Contribute to the design and specification of grid connection infrastructure and control systems.
- Stay abreast of evolving grid codes, regulations, and best practices in energy systems .
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with a focus on power systems.
- Significant experience in power system analysis , grid operations, or renewable energy integration.
- Proficiency with power system simulation software (e.g., PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory, PSCAD).
- Strong understanding of grid codes, protection systems, and power electronics.
- Experience with distributed generation technologies and smart grid concepts.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, adapted for remote collaboration.
