Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop strategies for upgrading and modernizing electrical grid infrastructure.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies, including smart grid components and renewable energy systems.
- Develop technical specifications and project requirements for grid modernization initiatives.
- Analyze grid performance data to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Collaborate with utility partners, vendors, and internal engineering teams.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements for grid operations.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in power systems engineering or grid modernization .
- Strong understanding of power system dynamics, protection, and control.
- Experience with smart grid technologies, distribution automation, and SCADA systems.
- Proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., PSS/E, ETAP) is beneficial.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills for remote collaboration.
